Built for the player who already has a league night.

Court List is a short list, not a catalog. We write for people who already know how to play and want the next frame, string, or shoe to survive real rec use.

Who this is for

Serious recreational players: roughly 3.0 to 4.5 NTRP, two to four sessions a week, maybe a USTA or club ladder, maybe just the same four people every Thursday. You already own a frame. You have opinions about overgrips. You do not need a 20,000-word explainer on what a tennis ball is.

Who this is not for

Touring pros and the people who shop like them. Absolute beginners who still need a first racket and shoes in one afternoon. We will not pretend a 58 RA player’s frame or a $350 carbon-plate shoe is the honest rec answer.

How a listing earns a place

A product has to survive league nights, weekend sets, and one restring a month if you are lucky. We look at who it actually fits, whether the Court Score axes match the way rec players hit, and whether the street price still makes sense after the honeymoon demo. If a piece of gear is only impressive on a launch video, it stays off the list.

How we stay honest

Verdicts stay short. Court Score is an editorial call — not an average of the five axes, not a user-star dump. When a listing has an affiliate or sponsor relationship, it is labeled. When it does not, we do not invent a buy button.
